Education

Our concept

Am Private School is an English-medium, Islamic-based and alternative primary school that promotes meaningful and balanced learning for children.

  • English – Our main medium of instruction and daily communication to build strong language proficiency.
  • Islamic – Islamic values are nurtured through daily practices, character building and school culture.
  • Alternative – We use varied, child centered teaching approaches to support deeper understanding and real-world application of knowledge.

Our Beliefs

1

Every child is entitled to enough playing.

2

Every child is unique.

3

Every child deserves a chance to explore their interests.

4

Every child has a different pace in whatever they do.

5

Learning is about acquiring knowledge, not about getting a good result.

6

Every child is a genius, in their own creative way.

Am Holistic Learning Framework (AHLF)

1. Academic & Cognitive Development

We emphasise strong foundations in core subjects through structured, engaging and interactive learning. Lessons are designed to build understanding, not memorisation, so students can apply knowledge confidently in real-life situations.

2. Islamic Values & Character Building

Islamic principles and good moral values are applied naturally in daily routines, behaviour and school culture. Students learn to practice discipline, respect, empathy and responsibility as part of their personal growth.

3. Student Wellbeing & Social–Emotional Growth

We provide a safe, calm and supportive environment where students feel heard, valued and guided. Emotional expression, positive communication and healthy peer relationships are encouraged to build confidence and resilience.

4.Active, Creative & Experiential Learning

Learning takes place through hands-on exploration, projects and varied activities that make lessons meaningful. This approach helps children think creatively, solve problems and enjoy the learning process.

5. Family–School Collaboration

We believe children grow best when parents and teachers work together. Through consistent communication and meaningful involvement, families become active partners in supporting each child’s learning, behaviour and overall development.
